Enlighten Education Consulting's Founder and CEO Nandita Gupta has relished working with hundreds of high school students to attain their educational goals since 2003. Nandita blends extensive knowledge and experience with her intuition, passion, unique perspective, and deep-seated interest in helping individual students thrive in higher education and beyond.
Nandita's personal dedication met professional expertise when she served as an Admission Officer for Stanford University. She traveled on behalf of the university to recruit students, and evaluated thousands of domestic and international applicants. During her tenure at Stanford she also managed Stanford’s alumni interview program in two pilot regions, worked closely with students in special circumstances (such as those with learning, physical, and psychological disabilities or those taking a gap year), and trained new Admission Officers.
Nandita's distinctive professional qualifications also include a background in Executive Search with globally renowned search firm Russell Reynolds Associates. At RRA, Nandita worked with high-growth and Fortune 500 companies to select top-level talent and helped elite VP- and C-level executives further their established careers. While she enjoyed “admissions for grown-ups,” her true passion lay with aiding those who are just beginning to develop their professional paths with the important first step of selecting a right-fit college.
A native of New York and New Delhi, Nandita Gupta graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Anthropology. Even as an undergraduate, Nandita devoted her weekends to helping students prepare for the SAT and wrote her prize-nominated thesis on college readiness and accessibility.
